Mit Primordial ging für mich nicht nur Tag 4 des WOA zu Ende, sondern das Wacken Open Air 2024. Die Iren ballerten zu später Stunde ihren keltisch geprägten Black Metal unter die Leute und ernteten, wie nicht anders zu erwarten, jede Menge Zuspruch vom Publikum. Ein würdiger Abschluss „meines“ WOA.
Resümierend war Wacken für mich wieder DAS Highlight des Jahres, obwohl (bis jetzt) 2024 viele geile Konzerte mit jeder Menge Höhepunkte für mich anstanden. 78 Bands habe ich geschafft, und 78 Bands haben mich geschafft. Aber so solls auch sein. Und nun fiebre ich Wacken 2025 entgegen.
Primordial not only marked the end of day 4 of WOA for me, but also the end of Wacken Open Air 2024. The Irish band blasted their Celtic-influenced black metal into the crowd late into the night and, as you’d expect, got a lot of cheers from the audience. A worthy conclusion to “my” WOA.
In summary, Wacken was once again THE highlight of the year for me, although (so far) there were many great concerts with lots of highlights in store for me in 2024. I managed 78 bands, and 78 bands managed me. But that’s how it should be. And now I’m looking forward to Wacken 2025.
