Seit ihrer letztjährigen Metal Battle Teilnahme sind Phantom Excaliver die Sympathieträger im Metal schlechthin für mich. So viel Spaß, wie die Band selber hatte und auch nach Außen versprüht, sieht man kein zweites Mal. Dementsprechend auch keine allzu große Überraschung, dass die Japaner mit ihrem genialen Power Metal, das Ding dann auch gewonnen haben.
Große Freude meinerseits, die Jungs dieses Jahr wiederzusehen. Schon vorab im Presse Bereich extrem offen für jedermann und für jedes Selfie zu haben, bestätigten Phantom Excaliver dann auf der Bühne den positiven Eindruck. Für mich ist die Band nach Loudness der vielversprechendste Export aus dem Land der aufgehenden Sonne!!!!
Since their participation in last year’s Metal Battle, Phantom Excaliver have been the most likeable band in metal for me. The amount of fun the band had themselves and also radiated to the outside world is something you don’t see a second time. So it came as no great surprise that the Japanese won the thing with their brilliant power metal.
It was a great pleasure for me to see the guys again this year. Already extremely open to everyone in the press area and available for every selfie, Phantom Excaliver confirmed the positive impression on stage. For me, the band is the most promising export from the land of the rising sun after Loudness!!!!
