Ganz unerwartet konnte ich Absolva als Support Ende 2018 für Michael Schenker Fest sehen und fotografieren. Da Schenker mit vier Sängern einen ultralangen Set hatte, rechnete vorab nicht wirklich jemand mit einem Supportact.
Nun, Absolva hatten die Ehre, für den blonden Gitarrero zu eröffnen und ich freute mich über die Möglichkeit, die Briten zu fotografieren.
Mehr als ein Jahr ging ins Land, bis mich im Juni diesen Jahres Absolva Gitarrist Luke Appleton kontaktierte und mich fragte, ob die Band einige meiner Bilder für das im Dezember 2020 geplante Live Album nutzen dürften.

Quite unexpectedly I was able to see and photograph Absolva as support for Michael Schenker Fest at the end of 2018. Since Schenker had an ultra long set with four singers, no one really expected a support act in advance.
Well, Absolva had the honor to open for the blond guitarist and I was happy to have the opportunity to take pictures of the Brits.
More than a year went by until in June this year Absolva guitarist Luke Appleton contacted me and asked me if the band could use some of my pictures for the live album planned for December 2020.
